Empowering Bright Children who Struggle in Reading, Writing, and Math
Our camp mission is to prevent summer learning loss, have fun, make new friends, spend time in nature, step into the child’s creativity, problem solving skills & big picture thinking, and embrace the child’s empathy by engaging in a community project.
Beyond Words will help prepare your child for the upcoming school year, and the best part is your child will have fun in the interactive camp environment!

Your child will be taught by Lindsey Parte, a trained educator who is certified in the Orton Gillingham approach, using research-based methods and multi-sensory strategies to engage in the learning process of reading, writing and math.

Ages 6-12

8:30am - 3pm  •  $1500/child ($100 deposit to register, remainder of payment due July 1st)

Meet the Founder
Lindsey Parte is a special educator and mother to a bright, dyslexic thinker. She has a passion for empowering struggling readers. Lindsey reignited the Decoding Dyslexia Maryland: Eastern Shore Chapter in 2023, whose main goal is to spread awareness and advocate for best practices for our children. Her journey with her son and journey to building a local community on the Eastern Shore was highlighted in the cover story of The Bay Times in January. Lindsey’s mission is to increase educational resources for the children of the Eastern Shore community. This is where Beyond Words was born!
