Giving The Edge Foundation was selected as a recipient of the Baltimore Ravens’ Honor Rows Program, which recognizes youth groups making exceptional contributions to their communities. Honorees are chosen by a panel of youth service leaders with support from the Baltimore Ravens, the Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism, and M&T Bank staff. This year, we nominated our Field Day Efforts at local elementary and middle schools, highlighting our commitment to community engagement and volunteerism. The attending group of 50 students and volunteers, ranging from current to past participants in our Field Day efforts at Queen Anne’s County schools, were selected for their dedication and service. We enjoyed VIP field access, taking photos on the field and meeting players during warm-ups. While there, Giving The Edge Foundation was presented with a Governor’s Citation for the State of Maryland, a truly remarkable honor! Afterward, the students cheered from the honor row section, and the group was proudly recognized on the RavensVision boards during the 2nd quarter. It was a day full of unforgettable memories and highlights for all.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our Monthly Acts of Kindness initiative. We truly could not make the community impact that we do without your support. We have had some hugely successful events these past few months.
In October, we invited kids to help us paint kindness rocks with positive and inspiring messages. Find the rocks at our brand new Free Little Library at The Edge Arena! Take one home, share it, or hide one somewhere for others to find. These are great friendly reminders to be kind and spread positivity!
